I’m on board with the pics before the trip. Backfire and exhaust falls off? Kinda extreme. If no pictures keep looking. Seeing you have a trailer and will travel make it worth the trip. Bought mine recently, paid a bit more than I should have but got the pics I wanted, a car fax and all. Based it more on the body and interior condition vs mechanical seeing I can do that but horrid at body stuff. Good luck.

Ps: I live in Illinois and mine came from Missouri (about 100miles s/w of StLouis) In my searching found the further south I went the better the body was. I’d stay near Interstate 70 and south (less road salt use) unless you find a cream puff further north.

I think every cream puff up here has come from Texas or Arizona.

Yeah, rust isn't really an issue down here much. Maybe one good ice storm every couple years when they treat the roads
