Back in the late 80's they did put out something that could be considered a SS. I think it was only the s10 and the sanoma i dont think the blazers of jimmys got this. but they put a turbo in the trucks. they were called the cyclone and typhone. ran about 260 hp. they are really rare though I have managed to find one since I heard of them. but they were a 4.3 5 speed just rear wheel drive truck

not sure about the truck but the typhoon was actually an all wheel drive.

There is a front bumper you can buy that looks like the TBSS front bumper, grille inserts, hoods, roll pans, everything like that. but, by the time you install all of it, paint it (correctly i hope) and have it all done, you might as well sell your truck, and buy a used, higher mileage TBSS because its not worth it to "look cool" when you could actually be cool.


and the syclone was also awd
