blower motor help
I wouldn't have posted a new thread but not finding exact circumstances in other posts. I have a 94 Blazer,, 4.3, 4x4. Was riding up the road Friday, smelled an electrical smell, said please dont be me and it went away. Noticed my heat/AC fan wasn't working on any speed on heat or ac. Checked the fuse and its good, pulled the connector off the blower motor resistor and the test light comes on when testing each lead when changing speeds, put a new resistor in......no change, pulled the hot wire off the blower motor, test light comes on, took a new fan out to the truck, hooked upp a ground and plugged it in, it comes on, turns slowly and wont change speeds. Basically im confused on what to fix, is the the fan switch on the dash, blower motor or what. Any help appreciated! !!

I have the slide switch, dont look that bad ti change, just can't afford to throw parts at it, luckily know a guy at the parts store and was able to eliminate the resistor and blower motor.....i think. I assume the switch fixed yours? Thanks again
