Default body lift questions

Getting ready to order a body lift for my 98 4door ls. But I have a couple of questions. I searched for about 10 mins could find the answer.
So The 98 and up body lift on average is around 220 bucks but the 94-97 is around 160. Will this fit? Im not worried about bumper brackets building a custom one for the front and lifting the rear I can modify the stock ones.

And what about 3inch body lifts for first gens? Will that fit as well?

A lift kit for a 1st gen will fit a 2nd gen - to a point. Like you said bumper brackets are an issue (check out my profile/garages)
Mines an '02 LS with a 3" BL. They're not found for a 2nd gen so the previous owner installed a 1st gen 3" BL on the 2002 blazer. Works fine far as I see, no lower fan shroud & bumper brackets are fubar/non existant though.
If you have a stock class III hitch you may have limits as to how much trailer weight you can tow. Because as you see or will see, the hitch is incorporated with the rear bumper.

<edit> just to cover my a$$ this is what I have & I know it's a 1st gen 3" BL on my 2002. My belief is that the differences between a 1st & 2nd gen are possibly the lower fan shroud & mostly the bumper brackets. Everything else should be ok as far as the fuel filler neck, wiring, fuel lines etc. They all have extra to make up for the 3" lift. But check into the filler neck, you may have to get a length of hose to make it connect.

the brackets are the diff.
with the 3" lift you need to extend the shift cable and maybe something else...sorry.
i know if you search around you will find the answer here...several have done the 3" vs the 2"....i did the 2" so i might be able to help you with that.

also with the 4 door you need to be sure you are getting enough hardware for 12 body mount locations.

not worried about the hitch dont have one. The bumper brackets aren't an issue at all for me got a torch and a welder for that...lol but my main concerns are things stretching that far. brake lines for abs wiring harnesses steering shaft ect ect. The fan shroud might be an problem until i go electric fan setup.

I am leaning towards ordering the 2inch kit for the 94-97 I cant see an issue with that not fitting a 98. The only difference is the front fascia and bumpers if im not mistaken.

Yeah the lower fan shroud will be a gonner because the engine is on the frame & the rad & shroud are on the body. It will lift up the rad & shroud 3" unless you get 3" longer bolts & some tubing cut to 3" as sleeves for the bolts to go through so you can keep the lower shroud & keep close to stock cooling.
The top shroud will be a bit higher in relation to the fan than stock but it will still help cooling.
