Wondering how many of you guys have built your truck up and not bought it all ready jacked up or mods onto it.

I wanna also hear what you got done to the motor, lift, etc.

so here is mine....

Bought my 98 GMC Jimmy 2dr 4x4 at 218,000 miles for $2000.
6" BDS Suspension Lift Kit-$2500
33x13.5R15 Nitto Mud Grapplers- $1000
New Motor From GM with 3 year warranty/ unlimited miles for-$1700

My truck was 100% stock when I bought it. Everything mod I've done was done by me (see my build thread for all of them). A lift will be in the future.

She was bone stock when I got her except for a Drop in K&N filter.

Since then, I've upgraded the Stereo head unit, and installed a 10" subwoofer with a custom "temporary" mounting bracket. (I call it the MacGyver special, except it's an aluminum rod with straps on it, not paper clips and bubble gum.)

Blue dash lights, XM satellite radio...

Under the hood I installed a Cold Air intake with a custom fabricated heat shield. (It's still fabricated even if I did it with tin snips and a hammer lol)

Outside: Clear corners, black bowtie.

Soon to have: New Zealander style Brush Guard (thanks to Foxxie) and HID's... thinking about some custom tail lights now and some of those little annoying fog lights for the brush guard to **** the neighbours across the street off even more.

I bought it all stock and since I have no money to spend on her, she's staying stock

She might get a new speaker this winter, if time and money permit

was stock when i bought it @ the end of last year.

have installed the "Bling Bars" (for my daughter), the hitch & wiring harness-which is funny, 'cause the truck was bought with the tow package new) and the brush bar i just picked up. i'd like to lift it, but i'm worried about losing the stability of it. oh yeah, i added a set of 1st gen 5 spoke aluminum rims to it, for Winter rims, but plan on doing a "rim resto" on them in the Spring for my "new" Summer rims.
