Well crap. Another "twist" added. (See what I did there?) If I'm going with negative camber any real way of figuring how much toe and which direction? Trial and error?

More negative camber (moving the upper control arms inward) will give you more toe out. You can measure it with a tape measure by marking a line around the tire and comparing the measurements at the front and rear of the front tires.
