Default cold weather reliable!

This cold(which isn't really)hasn't stopped my Jimmy-at the Nissan dealer I work at there were at least 2 dozen tow-ins and the temp was only 9*!!!! One idiot had his car towed in 'cause the doors were frozen shut(WHA???)I have always found that a well maintained Chev will start down to -40*F I once got one started at a reported -60*F,but I cheated,I brought the battery inside that night! Amazing how the lemmings love the Japanese polish and yet don't spend their $ where it really counts:reliability! Gotta love it!

To where as in Buffalo NY my blazer has a few issues due to the cold. Bogged down pretty good at the start, hopped out to brush it off and see a lovely green color pouring outta the front end. It doesnt look like the seams cracked but there is an obvious issue.

It was due for an oil change, rotation and other various fixes anyway so tack on a few more hours to replace the radiator while opting for a new thermostat while I was at it and she is good as new.

Our temp was around the 0 mark from what I saw with wind chill in the area of -20 to -40 in some parts.

Glad I don't have to worry about all that cold weather nonsense down here in Texas! In the coldest part of winter, it might get below freezing... barely!

It is said that vehicles aren't affected by wind chill, but I have had many carbs ice up from driving in -25* temps. And as a former long haul trucker;I have changed MANY a fuel filter on my rigs in some very inhospitable locations! The worst was I-94 between Glendive and Miles City MT,wind chill was easily -50*! But Cleburne: I have been in some nasty cold up in the panhandle, all TX ain't warm!
