Default Wow What A reliable unit!

Found a 97 Jimmy in an impound lot last feb, ugly white with gold trim-swapped out all the parts from my 96 green& silver one-all bumpers, moulding etc plus all the good parts I had put in to it-well this blazer has been the BEST! Consistant 23-25 mpg! 14 states in the last 4 weeks-GA to ME! What a find! Rust free and reliable as my 66 step side and easy to work on for the most part and still looks sweet from 20 feet! Very happy with this car!-The best part is-I only have $1500 in this unit!Amazing!

i used to know a guy who knew a guy who owned a impound yard. i used to just buy the stuff out of there for a little bit over scrap value. few things i fixed and sold. other junks were just parts. best thing i found was a 82 burb 4x4 for $200. still using the drivetrain 7 years later
