Counterintuitive locks
Has it bothered anyone else that a blazer is the only vehicle with locks that turn clockwise to unlock and counterclockwise to lock? Of all the locks I use everyday this is he only one like this! I don’t really know the mechanics of why nor is it a problem unless I’ve been driving another car for a little bit, but doesn’t it kind of irk anyone else?
I guess it’s just another thing that makes blazers special.

I always thought it was strange, but after having s-series trucks for so long (most without a working fob) I've gotten used to it on the trucks.
Come to think of it, my early 90s k1500s may have been like that too...but I don't remember for sure.
I have one that is left turn unlock in my house too...Now that one bothers me...especially since the deadbolt above it turns right to unlock lol.

And confuse lock pickers. I drove my 91 so long it became easier to come in the passenger door and hop over both manual shifters than all the tricks to getting the driver's door open and closed. Someone pried the corners of my unlocked door trying to steal my stereo. Now thats my canoe stereo because they didn't know the tricks. If someone tries to steal it again they'll find out what I did with the old ignition coil from the 91. TICK! fool.
