So basically, I was driving back to school with my gf and it was exactly 11pm

Driving on a stretch of road I never saw deer cross before...

BAM... I couldnt turn away, because I did not see it until it was maybe 6 inches from my bumper...

The good news is that the hood flipped up and covered the windshield and the air bags did not deploy... I hit it and then pulled off the road after about 200-300 feet, and the deer was ejected another 100 feet ahead of me...

My front end got raped by the deer, it was a fatass of a baby buck with just a little rack... no pictures of the deer but it was dead and had one of its legs snapped and twisted in the wrong direction...

Happened at 11 and got home at 2 am....

Oh and the blood is still on the license plate...

Awe man tough break, sorry to hear about the truck. It's a good thing we don't have deer around where I live I'm sure I would have hit one by now. Almost got a couple horses carrying some people in the middle of the night though! That would not be fun at all. Really looks like the deer got the best of your truck unfortunately, time for and upgrade!

The damage does look fixable though... I guess? New grille, rad support... lights, hood... Pick-N-Pull FTW! lol.

Hopefully it all works out in the end. I almost had a similar story with a coyote.
