For a good distributor? Autozone shows a rebuild Cardone (which I have no idea if they are good or bad) for 81 and a new for over 200!

i'm not sure what you were looking @, and that link sucks-it takes you to a general page (you have to fill in the info). but the Cardone Reman / Distributor is $89.99 (plus $25 core). and the Cardone New / Distributor is $239.99, and neither of them come with the module (mine does! ), but the new one does come with a new cap/rotor (same as mine).

there was another available on that page, Dorman / Distributor.

while the Dorman one had this to say:
Features & Benefits:
Dorman Ignition Distributors Are 100% New, Direct OE Replacements. 100% New Caps, Rotors, And Electronic Components Are Included To Ensure A Bolt Off/Bolt On Solution.
both of the new distributors are still alot more than the one i picked up-especially when you factor in my exchange rate down to the American dollar.

distributor - 78.79 (dorman)(new not reman) rockauto.com
intake gaskets - 32.79 (felpro) rockauto.com
oil change - prolly no more than 20.00 for full service
thermostat - 12.33 (acdelco) rockauto.com

sounds like they marked it up quite a bit

well they got the distributer at napa, it cost them 174.99 they charged me 189.00...

The one from Napa is new.
Distributor (Electronic w/ Module) - New
Product Line: NAPA New Distributors
Part Number: NND 9591002
Price:
174.00
Each

And I know it has the electronic module B/C I made sure I looked at it when they received it.

Well yeah I could of saved money ordering the parts but I just wanted it fixed ASAP.

Considering all that I have done myself, Starter, brakes, rotors, front shocks, A/C system, alt, battery, egr, tranny cooler, my own oil changes and not only the engine oil all of the fluids...

That must be one hell of an update... Are these the gaskets with the gold frames? I paid $60 for the updated felpros at NAPA... I'd ask some questions at least.

Yep, about $60 to $70 depending on where you purchase the kit from. Part number is MS98002T for the updated set (MS95817 was the old set) and RockAuto.com has it for $60.79.
