Default difference between 2 door and 4 door panel

Hi all, being up north in the snow belt is catching up on my 03 2door LS 4WD. rear quarter panels on both sides. Picture from the back of the wheel arch to the tail light opening under the fuel filler cover . Very rusty now both sides of vehicle. Can only find a replacement patch for the 4 door in the LMC truck catalogue. The main catalogue used to show a separate part for the 2 door but can't find it listed anymore. Does anybody know if the 4 door rear quarter panel replacement panel part in that catalogue would work on the 2 door? Or would it be easier to cut a rectangle out and weld a pre rolled piece of 18 gauge in the hole? I will be replacing both plastic bumper extensions beneath these areas so that should allow a little better access for fitting and welding. I appreciate any and all advice. Been a welder fitter all my life but not much experience with the body filler. I guess I'm more curious if this area below the fuel filler is identical between the 2 door and 4 door models?
