Differences Between Zr2s and Regular 4x4 2 Door Blazers
What are the exact differences between the Zr2s and 2 Door 4x4 Blazers? (Only comment if you actually know please, no "I Think" answers)

ZR2 had a wider track than the stock 4x4's. The rear axle also came stock with the G80 limited slip and 3.73 gears. Stock tire size is 31's compared to standard at 235/75/15. And the suspension components are mounted lower on the frame with a few different parts that allow a 2" higher ride height. They also came with fender flares that weren't available for the standard.

The ZR2 rear axle is wider too, and its a 8.5" rear vs the 7.5" of normal S-series trucks. The frame is different too, in that the suspension mounts lower, and some of the cross members are slightly different. Quick search finds this thread that discusses the differences pretty good.

I knew about the flares, so the suspension components are not swappable?

You can use the leaf springs an t-bars. But the a-arms an cv shafts are longer due to the wider stance.

The reason you can't use the flares is because the physical wheelwell opening is larger on the ZR2s. Technically you can use them if you cut your stock fenders to match the ZR2 opening.

I dont want flares anyway lol thanks for the input guys.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that the ZR2 badge on the quarter panels adds 105 hp and 232 ft/lbs of torque to the drive train.
This is a highly unknown benefit of owning a ZR2. Please, keep it in house.

Lol just like the people who add "fart cannon mufflers" to their 4 bangers and all of the sudden they are 10x faster hahaha
