DIY thread possibility
#1
Well, I just did a quickie fix, heater core flush to get my heat working. I know it won't last long, but it will work until I can flush my entire cooling system. I snapped a few pics and was wondering if any of you would find it helpful if I made a DIY thread for getting your heat to work without having to immediately flush the entire system? I mean I will clearly state that it is a temporary fix and a full system flush is needed. Just thought it might be helpful, but I wont waste my time if it is not going to be useful to anyone.

If you do it, I would be sure and explain when a heater core flush would be beneficial as opposed to the whole system flush. I can't say I really know...
And are you talking about just unhooking the two hoses at the firewall that go to the core, or are you talking about removing the dash panels and getting at it that way..?

Sounds good! Make the thread in the appropriate Tech section (2nd gen in this case) and I will copy it to the DIY section, leaving the original for the discussion thread.
