Do you have an inverter mounted in your rig? Was it worth the install?

Wonder what the max should be but I figured 250w was safe.
Do you normally leave the rig running when using the inverter?

I have a pretty beefy battery, plus an AD244 alternator, plus a 100W solar panel on the roof, so I really don't have any problem with the battery getting run down, even with frequent stops and starts. I can leave the inverter and the fridge running all weekend if I want.

The amount of power the inverter uses depands on what's plugged into it. Like I mentioned, my 400W inverter only draws like 20 amps at full load, and my food warmer only uses 45 watts. So that thing can run for hours without hurting the battery. If I'm parked in the sun, the solar panel actually produces more power than the inverter uses.

That's a sweet setup.
