Default power inverter install

I have a 800 watt power inverter i want to install. I was going to disassemble it and put all the guts behind the glove box and extend the plugs, but know im thinking i want to be able to remove it to take it on trips with another vehicle. So heres my questions 1, would it have enough air flow if i install it behind the glove box without another fan(it has an internal fan). 2, can i just buy some plug ends and some wire and make my own extension cord and mount the ends where ever i want?

Any other sugestions?

Default RE: power inverter install

If it already has a fan built in it should be fine, I mounted mine next to my car amplifiers in the back by tapping into there power blocks then ran a 3 plug 8 foot extention cord under the seats and center console to the bottom of my dash so i can easly remove it for other vehicles
