Does It have 3.08 Rear End Gear??
I would imagine that most everything that applies to an S10 Blazer also applies to a GMC Jimmy.
I would like to know which rear end gear my 99" Jimmy has.
At 65 mph the tach says 2500 rpm in OD lock up. I'm guessing GM offers 3.08 and 3.73 rear end gears. I hope mine is a 3.08.
Is there something in the VIN denoting rear gear or a tag somewhere indicating the gear ratio?
I need schoolin on these veHickles. Any other info would be appreciated.

RPO code list in your glovebox will have the gear ratios:
GT4 - Axle Rear 3.73 Ratio (Dup with 5X1)
GT5 - Axle Rear 4.10 Ratio (Dup with GT8)
GU4 - Axle Rear 3.08 Ratio
GU6 - Axle Rear 3.42 Ratio
G67 - Level Control Auto, Air
G80 - Axle Positraction Limited, Slip
