Driver's window
Well I had the Jimmy in the shop last night building a glare guard for my led light bar. That project went good just need to do some final shaping and paint. i pulled out of the shop closed the door on the jimmy and the drivers window just shattered! I didnt slam the door or even shut it hard! So i pulled back in the shop and pulled the door panel a cleaned out all the glass. So for now I have the redneck duct tape and plastic window until I can get a side window. How big of a pain is replacing it?
I had to replace the motor for the window and it was annoying but I did not have my GM Service manual yet. I don't think has to be all that hard but instead more annoying.
What year is it? If it is close to my 1999, I can see what my manual says and scan the pages for you.
P.S. Hi Idaho neighbor!

Thanks! This will help a lot! Now to find or order a new window and motor/regulator. My power window hasn't worked for a few years. I have found a full set of manual doors but not sure if I want to go that direction.
If you are doing the regulator too, you'll need this.
I went the cheap route and grabbed a door from the scrap yard, painted and slapped it on. Thanks for posting this tho, I still have the original door that I plan on putting back on, it's in amazing shape...
