Default Engine oil cooler

After removing the lower air filter box, I noticed that the lines for the oil cooler were not connected to the oil cooler. Apparently someone bypassed the oil cooler due to a leak? So my question is, do I need to have a new one installed or is it ok to continue running it as is?

Hi Mike,

If it were me I would replace the oil cooler. It is a lot cheaper versus an engine rebuild down the road.
