Default engine swap problem please help asap!

i just recently swaped a motor from a 97 blazer to a 95 and yes it can be done but you can only use the block and then have to modify the oil pan meaning cutting off the ears on the pan and much grinding.if you attempt this you have to change heads because the intake angle is different its the only way.ive done done all this got it started and it idles great try to put in gear and go it spits and sputter and the computer scanner i have shows the timing jumping everywhere. i also have a knock sensor code going off wil this make the engine run o bad to wher i can barely move it or what else could be the problem? please help asap dont have a vehicle to drive need to solve problem fast

Is your PCM tuned up to read all the new 2 gen crud you just stuffed under a (pententialy) 1st gen hood? (95 was the change year when the 2 gens reared their rounded body styled heads...)
