Fire extinguisher

RE: Fire extinguisher
Yeah I didnt know about those quik fists. The mag lite mounts work good for me. I did have to wrap some paper around the batteries to make it a snug fit so that the batteries didnt rattle in the metal housing (that was real annoying at first). I'll take some pics later to show the setup of that and the mounts better.

RE: Fire extinguisher
I am also looking forward to seeing those pictures, i never really thought about putting an extinguiser in my truck, but i can remember some times when it would have been good, would have saved some sweatshirts that i used as a fire blanket. Also, does anyone have a picture of the quickfists close up, i dont even know what those things are.

Here's a pic of the smaller sized quick fists. There's 2 larger sizes for holding larger objects obviously, and those are 2 piece things.
Sorry for the camera-phone quality. Got out to the blazer, turned the camera on, and then the battery light started blinking..and I didn't wanna run upstairs, switch battery packs, then come back down...sooooo cell phone
I've got 2 quickfists mounted to the passenger side of the center console floor part. Holds the mag lite, keeps it still, and out of the way!

RE: Fire extinguisher
Well I finally got around to taking some pics of my setup, here they are:
I also just made a how to on how I installed my fire extinguisher and Maglite, as well as how to make the Maglite batteries not vibrate and make annoying noises while driving. Here is a link to the other post
I just mounted them with doublesided industrial grade foam tape, then put in 2 screws per Maglite clamp (came with the clamps) to hold them in good since they grip the Maglite real tight and I had ripped the mounts off once already.
Here is a view of just the mounts:
Showing the Fire Extingusher and a better view of the maglite mounts:
Showing the final product installed:
Yeah with all your custom wiring you should probably invest in one.

When I got the command start/alarm installed on my car, the installer was like "If that thing catches fire it's NOT MY FAULT!"
