Floor Mats?

Hi All
I want new floor mats for the winter and I thought I'd ask for some feedback.
I like the idea of weathertech but they are pricey and I really dislike that I have to buy a set of four. Has anyone really ever had their rear mats wear out? It seems predatory, like when the cable company forces you to buy a bunch of channels that you won't watch just to get the one you need.
Has anyone ever found a "good quality" floor mat supplier or retailer that sells them individually or just fronts? Ideally I would replace the drivers every year, the passenger every two or three and the rears never.

Thanks Rich
I tried to search eBay and Amazon but weathertech doesn't make the custom mats for the 97 Blazer and nobody sells the trimable mats in front pairs, at least not that I could find in my searches.
I did find a product called HexoMat. Has anyone tried them? They are made in USA, claim a lifetime warranty and they have a contoured set of fronts for the 97.
I think I may give them a try.
