I thought I posted this before but it was on bf.net. so here it is.

This broken gearshift sliding cover thingy has bugged me since I bought the truck. The only way to get a new slide at the time was to buy a complete console. The Chevy guys have found they had a loose slide & it cost 30 bucks so now I have replaced it.

I'm not too sure if any US Blazers have the auto change in the console the same as mine but for interest sake here are some pics, so this may be of mild interest to you US Blazer owners.

PicF shows the broken cover which then tore the sliding cover strip. Seems something got jammed in the slide. I've replaced the bulb with one of the blue LED's so I'll now need to start changing all the other bulbs.

Glad you were able to get it all fixed up. My Bravada had a leather boot around the gear shift lever so no slide. It had much the same gear indicator though.
