Hey again everyone, i been on hiatus because ive been working myself to the bone but since i had some time off today i took my digi camera and recorded some video of the axles and what i plan to do with them. Here is the link.
Basically what i got in mind so far is, like i mentioned above, spring over axle front and rear with jeep cherokee rear leafs in the front with an add-a-leaf kit, dedenbear ford knuckles, custom high steer kit, stock steering box if i can get away with it, 4.56 gears, front spool, riddler d44 diff cover, james duff 9" diff skid, and a bunch of steel for engine and gas tank skids. The rear as we understand it has a limited slip in it right now so that will stay but eventually it will get an ox locker.....once i get $900 to get one installed.
Also as a side note, in the video i make mention of the knuckles being weak for high steer arms and that there are some better ones out there. This site has information to better demonstrate what i was saying and the ford knuckles from dedenbear on this site are the ones that replace the weak ones.

Hey, ive done some research so i kinda know what I'm talking about though once it all comes together.....um, wing it?
And yes we have a "small collection of tires". One set is dale's old 31's with his factory 235/70/r15 spare doughnut on top of the stack, other is a spare set of 31's for my roommate's jeep (he runs 33's but if he pops one hes got a set to swap on as he has no spare), next to that is a 33x11.5r16 that was on my roommate's jeep till the rim got destroyed in an accident, next to that is my 33x12.5r15 spare, and of course the 31's on the aluminum rims......and those arent all the tires we got. Other side of the garage has 3 32x12.5's on stock jeep rims and also a set of 6 lug steel rims to a old chevy that my other buddy needs to pick up.
