is it a good buy?!
so i recently decided i wanted to get a 99 blazer after seeing one at a used lot ...
the body is in great shape...
no dings, dents, nothing missing, no rust, you get the idea here ...
same with the inside immaculate ...
now i havent test driven it or even listened to it start to run so i know im not giving you a whole lot but answer vaguely is it a good buy ...
118,335 miles for 3700
just let me know what you think without know how it runs or drives ...
it is an hour or more away so i dont want to make a trip if more people than not think its no good
thanks

I picked up a 2000 LT 4x4 with 177,000KM's (109,982 miles) for $2000 certified. I had a little surface rust on the bottom of the doors (bed liner fixed that) One paint chip on a door. I have a low optioned LT though, cloth seats and no sunroof.

well tbh the only way of telling, is actually going there looking at the engine, listening to it, driving it and checking the underside for leaks. Other than that you could be looking at a car that has an engine knock or a gear out in the tranny, who knows? With that said, im not to sure about it, i didn't kbb it, but a 99' with 118k on it and in nice "visual" condition, only for 3700? I think something is wrong with it, i'd imagine it to be around the 4000-5000 mark.

3700 is crazy good for that year and amount of miles. It could have something wrong with the engine, tranny or steering tho or who knows maybe they just want the truck off the lot.

Yeah I would be wanting to look at it and get it going through all the gears. If its running quiet, has lots of power, and doesnt hammer into gears, then its a good buy - especially off a lot. Have a look for leaks, tire condition, and drive it to see if its drives smooth. If you are happy, then get it. You can prolly get a good one privately for 3000 if you look in the local buy/sell papers.
