Good place to buy remanufactured engines (besides Jasper)
So I guess that's what i'm gonna do instead of a junkyard motor. I don't like it, but I don't plan on selling my Blazer anytime soon so its probably the smartest way to go. Jasper may be a little out of my range (at least for now) plus i'd like to have several options since it will make me poor again.I'm hoping there are places backed with experience that have them in the 1000-1500 range that will ship to Colorado. Precision Engine Builders was one I found and looks like a good place. Any other ones out there someone can vouch for?

when i thought the engine was seized in the '94 they quoted me $1100 for an almost complete 4.3 (no intake and exhaust manifolds)
Edit: was pretty good deal i thought but they are only a 45 min drive from me so no shipping would have been involved

May have to look at them budget guys, I'm sure Ican use my current manifolds. Where are those guys located exactly? I'm not too concerned about shipping costs. It will be shipped to the shop and it seems like it runs around 300 at the most from a lot of areas.
