thanks hawk. I think im going to sand off the chrome to see if i like it black.

 

Sorry man. It was raining again all day Monday. So I couldn't get the sanding done. I sowwy

 

:P its ok. But i got a new hood!!

 

I sanded with 220, 2 coats of primer, hit it with 220 again, another coat of primer, 2 coats of color, and 2 coats of clear. I used Krylon spray paint btw. I'm sure you can atleast find a color that matches close enough. I did mine last spring and its held up nicely despite lovebugs.

I painted mine black with billet grille. Need to re-paint, didn't layer the clear on enough and made it turn out flat black. Oh well, too late for this year.

 

yeah ranger. Yours is what i want mine to look like.

 

I'm thinking a chrome bowtie as opposed to black would look pretty good too.
