Default Harbor Frieght Hi lift Jack?

Anyone use these? Are they reliable. They run $50 and seem ok.

The pins wear out fast getting a lot of slop in them. I'm sure if ya have a machine shop ya could make some good replacement parts but otherwise just throw it away.

A 60 inch real jack is $30 more, parts last longer, can be rebuilt

I had one years ago and my van rolled forward while I was lifting and it put a deep dent and scratch in the back door

Make sure wheels are well chocked when using this type of jack

Ya might be able to shop around for a even better price. Amazon just sends me email based on the stuff I buy and I remembered that was in it. They also had some pretty good prices on ben10 toys (I got a 5 y/o son) if ya interested lmao.

I have three of those jacks, A couple of them I have owned since the 70s. 48" is all a guy needs. You don't use them enough if you know how to drive. I have been off-roading since the 60s & I have only used one twice to get unstuck. Several times to change tires until all this plastic crap started appearing on SUV & Trucks. Now you can't jack up the front on these Blazers without a high dollar brush guard.
Harbor Freight is plenty good enough. Keep the pins lubed & you will be fine.
