Default Height from ground to open tailgate?

On a Blazer, can someone confirm the height from the ground to the tailgate when it is down? I found somewhere online that says 30" but am hoping someone could verify that.

Forgot to add; 98-05 years only please.

I've attached the specs I scanned from the GM service manual for my 1999 4wd Blazer. They are specifically for the suspension height which is where any discrepancies in body height would likely originate.

Thanks for the pdf but I couldn't find a height measurement for a tailgate in it.

Ah yes. The issue is that body height for these trucks is measured at points between parts of the suspension and the frame.

Are you concerned with the ride height or if the tailgate is sagging relative to the body?

I should clarify. I don't have a Blazer but am looking for one. I asked about the tailgate height because I will be using whatever Blazer I get to transport my dogs. I have a ramp I use to load them into a vehicle. If I can get a measurement for the tailgate height it would help me determine if a tailgate Blazer would work for me as well as a liftgate Blazer therefore opening up a bigger pool of rigs to buy from.

I don't know for certain, but I believe the tailgate would be level with the cargo floor, which would make the height the same between the drop gate and lift gate models. I don't have a drop gate, so I can't confirm this.

True. However, on a liftgate model I could put the dog ramp on the lowest part of the rear bumper near the license plate to decrease the angle, making it easier for them to get in.
