Here's my 5k hi and low plus quad hi beam conversion. Took about a half hour for the HID's and 5 for the quads. Very easy and makes a big difference. First a comparison pic, then the final result.

I had a ballast go out after only 4 months but Michelle did an excellent job of shipping me new ones asap! They shipped the day after I contacted her. Great customer service!

The bi-xenon means both low beam and high beam is HID.

So there is a small metal piece inside the bulbs that uses electro magnetic energy to shift low to high (or bulb tilts) changing it's focus point (near to farther for high beam)

These types of bulbs are called dual beam and only certain bulb types and certain cars have that.

Thanks!

Thanks Michelle
Another question: Can I install a Bi-Xenon HID kit in my Blazer LT 2ooo model then?
I would certainly love the Bi-Xenon converter kit if it was possible to install with the recommended bulbs that you informed me to use.

Regards

Did they charge you for this? The pass side foglight in my X5 has been acting up lately, and there has been 3x now where it hasn't come on and given me the error on my dash saying the bulb is out. IIt's been sporatic when it happened, so I've been meaning to pull everything out to double check the connection.

No charge, just sent her an email and she responded with the return process. Hmm Im not certain the kit itself would be causing your troubles on the X5.. you might want to double check the connections. I noticed my light flickering a bit and then it just quit working all together.

I have been having similar issues with one of my headlights I recently got. It randomly goes out, or doesn't come on at all. I checked the connections a while back, but all were secure. I don't drive it a lot, and even less in the dark, so I am not sure if there is any pattern to it.

When I first purchased them, I actually had a light flicker in the same pass side foglight. At the time I blamed it on the fact that I forgot to ask for the resistors so I don't get a bulb warning on my dash all the time, but now that I've got the resistors, I'm thinking it's something else. My only thing is, how do I know if the ballast or the bulb is the problem? I'm guessing the bulb exhibits damage like a halogen would...glazed over lens, etc?

HI,

Sorry for the inconvenience, you might have received a defective ballast or bulb, please kindly swap the ballast from the none working side to the working side and see if the problem follows the ballast or the bulb, then follow the PDF file instructions to destroy defective part and email me your order # and full name to info@hidextra.com along with the photo attachment so I can get a new replacement part sent out to you. Thanks~
