I use HIDXtra's 35 watt 5k in both high and low beam an have done the quad high beam mod. I did this in january and am still happy with it.

Can one more person say they use 55w?
I am just going to get the lows for now but I am still afraid about the headlights. It seems everyone has hids on this forum so could someone chime in?

Most use 35's. My buddy had 55's in his Matrix and swapped them out for 35's because in his words "They were just retardedly bright, I re-aimed my headlights and people in lifted trucks were still flashing me."

You can either buy the kit or there is a thread on here that shows you how to do it yourself

Don't buy the kit, search this forum for swartllk's quad beam conversion instead. I think it is in the how to section. It's real easy all you do is add a ground wire.
