Default Hitch switch

I have a 96 Blazer and I just got a 99 ZR2 blazer. Just wondring if my hitch on the 96 will match up on the 99?

*goes out on a limb* i know the pre 98's are cheaper than the newer ones BECAUSE they wont fit the newer ones. different style due to different bumper. will it bolt into the same place? yes. Will it bolt up with your 99 bumper on there? I dont think so.


Prove me wrong someone as I am not 100% on this

I dont see why it wouldnt. I mean they do have different bumpers but its located below the bumper so it should be good. I could be wrong though.

well i know the universals fit 95-2005, but the OEM's are different. in shape/style/angle thats why i'd venture a no....

Best answer to the original question will take you 15 minutes if you have air tools.....

The hitch that I have on my 97 fit on my friends 200* Blazer. I just had to get more bolts for it because there are more bolts that attach his bumper to his frame than mine.
