did you get that scoop yet?
and i should be starting on mine since but I'm in college for auto collision and i told them what i wanted to do and they had an f350 hood they had already started on a couple years ago but never finished cus somebody ground through a couple places, so I'm using it for practice. ill post pictures of it

Is there a chance of cracking when a hood is glassed like that?
I always wondered about that.
Your project looks great by the way

is very sturdy and the edges don't flex enough to crack in my opinion, the middle is the only part that flexes. it should hold up for a while, maybe 10 years down the road it might start cracking but its a ford the whole thing will be in the scrap yard by that time so I'm not worried about it.

I'm on lunch now, its been all bondoed up and is getting glazed right now, after the glaze is sanded it will go into primer and if all goes well it should be ready to paint soon.
its going on my teachers f250

I dont think it should be too much of a problem of breaking, after all, they do make full body parts out of fiberglass.

ya it should be good. the only thing i would worry about on it is if you don't rough up the metal good enough and clean it or if you leave air pockets in between the metal and fiberglass it may split away from the metal
