I was actually taking a video of the momentous occasion and I just so happened to pull up to a light when it hit the big one. My Wife thought I took an extra dose or two of my crazy pills for taking a video of my speedometer of all things while I was driving.

I own a '96 4 door and hit 169,000 miles on my last trip. Aside from the play in the wheel and tougher steering, the Blazer is a great interstate vehicle. There's enough power to pass if needed and set the cruise to 80Mph while still retaining some "oomph." Can't say that for a V6 Explorer .
