How many miles you got?
Looks like today will be the day our '89 T-10 Blazer rolls over to 100k.
That's according to the odometer - I believe the miles are MUCH higher than that. Bought it out of a suburb of NYC, so maybe not. The original engine was so worn out, it burned a quart of 20w-50 all winter long, every 50 MILES ... Had like a 1/8" ridge at the top of each cylinder when I yanked & disassembled it. No wonder it burned so much oil! Now that's WORN!
The 2nd gen engine that's in there now has about 170k on it. Carb & HEI - no electronics whatsoever. That got all new gaskets and seals from front to back & top to bottom, plus a new Melling oil pump (stock volume), & Crane timing chain & gear set, back around this time of year in '12. Runs just absolutely PERFECT. Should be good for another 170k easy, judging from the crosshatch pattern still on all 6 cylinders.

currently 214,500...I have had the truck 7 years and have logged 85k miles in that time.....My trucks taken me to 6+ states and i in fact just put another 1K miles on it last weekend
