Default How much could I sell my truck for?

Hey all, I'm planning on selling my truck (or, worst case scenario: trading it in) but I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how much I might be able to get?

I was going to ask for $3,000 obo but some issues came up and I decided it's not worth fixing them, here's a list:

No A/C
Needs shocks
Computer might be wack, might not (can't explain why <shrugs>)
Needs rear hatch pistons (cheap fix)
Rear wiper doesn't work

The good is it has a lot of new parts. Has 170,000 miles, I doubt I'm going to get very much... worth asking though. I'm afraid I'm only going to get $500-$800 for a trade in.

A lot of car dealers have something like "$2000 for your trade-in, running or not" etc.
Maybe look around for one like that because that's a lot better than $500.

I'll ask around, for sure. A lot of dealers around here don't like trade in's but if it comes down to it, I'm going to ask around and see who has the best deal. And we'll be trading it in for a used car around 4K (give or take) so the trade-in might not be as good.

What i would do is chk your local craiglist prices and go from there.
i know 4x in my area holds value...min seems to be around 2,000 even with high miles...its like they bottom out at that price and never go lower

Not very much, from what I've seen so far. Around $1200... but most of them have so many issues.

And I thought this was funny
