General Chat Chat about all things Blazer (and related vehicles). Off-topic stuff should be in the lounge, and all mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

Ideas????

Yeah, bumpers these days are just a steel frame with plastic over them & some expanding foam to keep the shape.

How about something like this? I've seen them on blazers before.

yeah, that's just a tube bumper for a wangler. you will need some fab skills to make it mount up, but it's been done (like you said) that is a SIMPLE bumper to build. get some tube steel, and cut to lentgh. bending it to spec is the only hard part.

you can probably get one off of cragslist in the area as people ruin their jeeps often. look for a rear ending victim

here are a few to get the wheels rolling:

front

grille guard/light bar

matching rear style

good luck with finding any of those. i tried looking for one when i first bought my '98, and since they don't make 'em anymore (can't figure out why.......) i looked around.........

not good........any that you do find are gonna set you back large. so much so, you may as well pay a custom shop to fab you one up, exactly how you want it.
