You never specified what year you are looking for,but in Indiana I am certain you can find a good K/V series.Be very wary and do your homework! These are such great units from 72 to 91!

Opps....sorry. Looking for something between a 85-88...dont wanna jack with emissions testing here ha. Id REALLY like to find one with a TBI 350 already lifted. Im down in Texas and found a few decent ones in the 3800-4800 price range.

youre lucky your down south, up north all the k5s are rotted turds unless you can find a restored one. even 10 years ago the 80s k5s were a mess. i owned a few and they only last like 2 years until the floor falls out of them. few years ago i went to mississippi and picked up a k30 in good shape

Yessir....I certainly dont miss the rust lol! Im going to look at an 86 K5 this weekend. Im pretty stoked. New (old) hobby for me after getting off 2 wheels lol! Down here though gotta watch for the trucks along the coast. Salt water is hard on em too..ive seen a few k5's for sale in gulf shore states and Florida pretty eaten up with cancer.

yeah a guy at work lived in Florida and told me that same thing about the coast trucks. another big problem these trucks have is the frame cracking by the steering box so be sure to look at that
