This is in a thread about shackles, not bumper mounts man lol
Ok, maybe you're looking/asking him to make bumper brackets. I'd say take the old off, align the old bolt holes up & transfer those holes that are for the bumper to raw plate metal - transfer them 3" up (as per the BL you want & effectivly moving the bumper up 3") But who knows what the future holds, I'd always want to be able & ready. Personally, I'd still want the class III.
For this reason...

For some reason i was thinking this was just a thread offering fabrication services. so i was making idle chat about what i needed.

But yes good ideas about the mounts.

you think you could fab me up a winch mount for behind my bumper, now sure how it would look to make I'd have to crawl under my truck and check out how big of a plate I need, I'd also be interested in the bumper brackets for a 3" body lift too

Recieved the shackles on Saturday. Real good quality craftsmanship and the Welds look really good and strong.

Hopefully will be getting them put on this week coming up.

I am sorry to talk bad about someones work but those welds are absolutly horrible.... The center support looks to be crooked and they werent even cleaned up there are dingleberries all over them. If I welded something that looked like that at work I would be kicked to the curb real quick.

That's the difference between your job as a professional and someone that isn't. Yes there's dingleberries, but that doesn't take away from the weld. are the welds completely straight, no. But again he is not a professional he is still a student. Are the welds quality and strong, yes they are. The fact of how they are doesn't/won't take away from the strength that it has. I.E. a weld doesn't have to be straight to be strong.
