i put some on the stock roof rack of my 01 by just drilling some holes and mouting. i ran the wire under the rack, although if you want them on for a while, i would consider drilling a wire hole in the sides and running through there. after there, i just ran them ever so secretly into the door, under the carpet and so on.

What my buddy did was get a universal luggage carrier from the local part store and we bolted it down to his existing roof rack and attached 4 lights front and rear to the new rack. This way they were all level and we also used the rack to bolt the spare down to. Looked really neat. Wiring we did though a hole in the roof and a rubber grommet and then we hid the wiring under the roofliner and A pillars.

Metal hose clamps, electrical tape and I ran the wires to the rear doors and then hid the wires from there. I used the hose clamps so I didnt have to drill at all.

The only place inside mine that you can see the wires, is the relay, because I just took power from the amp line....
