Default lock right differential work OK for lite duty?

I have a 71K mile 94 Blazer with a perfect body and interior. Can't stand the open diff. I like the cost of a lock right over Auburn gear. Daily driver in snow and 2 tracks. I hear they are not for heavy duty off road- What do you guys know??

If youre asking about the rear axle, it will be fine for every day driving. It just wont stand up to rock crawling and big obstacles. If all your doing is snow driving though, you might want to look into an Auburn LSD..the Lock Right is ~300 if I remember...and the Auburn is ~375. Might be worth checking out

Thanks wolfpack. I tend to overdo stuff. The labor would make a pretty big difference.
