I am looking to buy a code scanner. I have A 1995 4x4 Chevy Blazer I am wonder if this is the right one for my truck and if anyone knows if it is a good one. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A1IONBBRHLTCBR

seing as how you are a 95, you fall in a really bad spot for this. your truck might work with OBDII, but might also be what is lovingly called OBD1.5...

Best way to check would be to look at your PCM. you could also go to an Autozone or similar parts place and borrow their scanner. if their OBDII works with yours, you're good (and lucky). If not you're in a rougher spot as it is tough to find support for your diagnostics system...

'95 is a tricky year as early in the build was OBDI, middle was OBDI.5 and the end of the year was OBDII. If yours was built late in the year and IS OBDII, then this scanner will work for you.

Now you just need to figure out if you have OBDII or not.

EDIT: Beat again!!! lol
