as many of you might have read i have been looking for a handheld code scanner that will work on a 95. i finally found one. i was looking at the equus 3140 but after calling them they told me it will no t work. Actron CP9190 will work. i looked at the pdf of their manual and it is listed as a supported vehicle. they said some 95's use a 16 pin OBD II connector but it is OBD I compliant (im guessing thats why the equus wont work for some strange reason if it has the capability/connectors for both OBD I and II i dont see why it wouldnt). i wish the equus would work i have a compression/ fuel pressure tester, vaccum guage, LED timing light (even has idle RPM's and the timing advance on screen) i will buy their fuel pressure tester as well i havent had any problems with them so far. looks like im going to have to settle for actron. but at least i will have one when i need it. has anyone used any other handhelds on their 95's ? please post somments about them.

Any of actron's scanners that are obd2 will work. They have been programmed to work with the obd2 transition. We sell them at work and I have tried most of them on my truck and haven't had any problems.
