Default Looking to install a remote start

I have an 02 Chevy blazer LS 4.3L V6. I was interested in possibly installing a remote start but so far from doing some surface research I keep seeing remote starts for 03 and up. Obviously I'm going to keep looking but I'm curious if it's even possible to correctly install one in my truck. Any advice/help is appreciated, thanks.

My '98 Jimmy LT 4.3L V6 has a remote start installed by a previous owner. It no longer works but I have to think it did at one time.

If you know how to install a remote starter, you should be able to find all the wiring information you need on the12volt.com. In a previous life I installed remote starters on dozens of S-series trucks. It's a pretty straight forward vehicle to work on.
