Wife had a 95 Ford Contour that I nursed along for the last 10 years. Thing finally died a few weeks ago with 270K miles on it. Said a prayer, sprinkled some holy water on it and drove through the pearly gates of the local boneyard and got $300 for it. She's been driving my Blazer while we look for another ride for her, the whole time complaining about the fuel mileage not being 30mpg. Aparently it wasn't that bad.... picked up a sweet 2004 Blazer 4 door 4X4 with 109K on it.... she loves it.

 

I'd say "look here woman!"....I kid, I kid..pretty fast way to get yourself in the dog house. I'm sure there is a compromise somewhere to be found.
