Did you bench bleed the master before you put it on?
Also, not sure if it will work with newer cars, but with old VW's sometimes if you jack the back up & put the rear on stands. Then open the bleeder valves up & let it sit for a while & it will help the air bubbles work their way out naturally. Enjoy a frosty beverage while you wait & keep an eye on the reservoir to make sure it doesn't go dry or you'll be doing it all over again.

I've already done what you wrote. I have oil to the bleeders but with it up on stands no back brakes. Abs light was on after swapping master so I took it out on the snow in the yard and hit the binders until abs started working and light went out. Still no back brakes. Disconnected battery but that didn't reset anything and also tried removing fuse. I'm wondering if there is a spool in the abs module that's not sitting in proper position. Thanks for the help

Sounds like you may have air bubbles in the ABS module. You need a scan tool to properly bleed that.

You're most likely right and I have an appointment at a local garage later this week. They also think it's air in abs module. Thanks
