so easy since it's a 1st gen truck. just get the bypass bracket, pulley & serpentine belt for a non-A/C equiped truck. remove the A/C compressor (& hoses), belt & idler pulley. now install the bypass bracket & pulley, then slip on the new (shorter) belt.

done. *all of those parts are available @ any aftermarket parts supplier*

you're lucky it's not a 2nd gen. never seen a 4-3 quiped truck without A/C in it yet.

GL with the repairs.

do you mean when you're taking everything out? or do you mean any fancy way of disposing it.

i stand corrected on a 2nd gen, non-A/C 4-3. found a '01 ZR @ the JY without it, today.

is there anywhere one could find pre-bent fuel lines for the TBI on my 88?
