my thoughts exactly!
so easy since it's a 1st gen truck. just get the bypass bracket, pulley & serpentine belt for a non-A/C equiped truck. remove the A/C compressor (& hoses), belt & idler pulley. now install the bypass bracket & pulley, then slip on the new (shorter) belt.
done. *all of those parts are available @ any aftermarket parts supplier*
you're lucky it's not a 2nd gen. never seen a 4-3 quiped truck without A/C in it yet.
