so i am his friend with the jeep. i created this account just to say that... JEEPS ARE THE ****! there is no way his jimmy or any other jimmy will keep up with any jeep out there, stock or modded. JEEPS FOR LIFE, DOWN WITH CHEVY!
out on the trail i mean. they are street cars and that is where the jimmy/blazers belong.

I don't like to talk s### on a forum but I really wish you were closer so we could hit some trails and I could show you just how capable a Blazer really is. Stop thinking that just because it says "Jeep" on the hood that its good offroad. Yes they can be awesome but 90% of offroad driving is just that DRIVING and I'm willing to bet you could get a sand rail stuck in the sand! I go everywhere that all of my jeep friends go and never have any issues getting there. You just have to know how to pick the right line and then how to drive the vehicle through that line. If you ever make it to the good coast let me know and I'd be glad to show you just how capable a Chevy is. And if I'm ever in Cali I'll hit you up in my Chevy Malibu rental car and we can hit the trails and I'll teach you how to drive!! Its sad that almost every jeep I see like 99 out of 100 are all pavement princesses and never actually get to see any more offroading than driving over the dust on the edge of the street that the street sweeper missed.
And heres proof that a Blazer is better lol!!

But.. yes jeeps have more bolt on options available and some models are probably more capable stock than a stock blazer but what fun is that. Hands down if you put a jeep up against an equally built Blazer, the Blazer will walk on it. And on top of that like you said rex, stupid built jeeps are everywhere. why be a follower, build your blazer and stand out!
When i was snow wheeling last winter my truck walked right past a stuck XJ and YJ both with lockers, then i proceeded to break trail the rest of the way. It all depends on what kind of wheeling your talking about and how you drive.
Blazers are better. Debate over.
Personally I think every thing is equal.... THE dam bronco I have I cant never get it stuck ... and I drove the dam thing thru ponds mud pits creaks Ditches.... and so on.
Every 4x4 has there limits. But it also depends on the driver.

That's shows nothing except that blazer drivers are idiots and know that Jeep will beat them. And I'll crawl right over that street car. Zero clearance, independent suspension. Can't put wider that 31's without alot of upgrades.
Not ****ty transmissions.
You can lift a Cadillac... what does that tell you about blazers.
