mods!
That's shows nothing except that blazer drivers are idiots and know that Jeep will beat them. And I'll crawl right over that street car. Zero clearance, independent suspension. Can't put wider that 31's without alot of upgrades.
Not ****ty transmissions.
You can lift a Cadillac... what does that tell you about blazers.

Lets just say, 2 winters ago in 19" of snow, I had to pull a jeep out of the snow, in my first gen blazer, with bald tires because they were stuck, not to mention that the radiator had a crack at the upper radiator hose nipple, and was dry on coolant.. Your argument is invalid.
Please, Find something better to do with your time. I am just astounded that you took time out of your life to come on here and argue this.
Good luck.
haha not suprised to hear about a blazer falling apart.. I'm only on here to mess with you guys and my friend "24cito24".
Don't take anything personally but blazers /Jimmie' With the newer body styles are not made to be used for off-road. Jeeps are made stock ready for off-road. Except like, grandcherokees, patriots, ect. I'm just proving a point to my friend that thinks his Jimmy is an off-road vehicle. It's a citymans "4wd ""

We understand what youre trying to say and do.. and what we are trying to say is youre wrong and a blazer is pretty capable off road stock. your cherokee doesnt have much more if any at all more ground clearance than a blazer/jimmy.
Oh side note.. u said something about blazers having bad transmissions?? Dude.. you drive a Chrysler.. get real. worst trannys in the game.
But man for real... as long as your friend has fun off road with his jimmy thats all that matters. Dont be that one D bag who always has to hate on peoples trucks and ruin the fun. And im sure ur friend hates on ur jeep too... But lets just grow up and go get our trucks muddy!

No he likes my Jeep, and I don't hate his Jimmy...
And his Jimmy has had three transmissions and it's at 123k. My Jeep has 212k never changed transmission oil and has not had a single problem. Jeeps have great transmissions, Dodge trucks are the worst next to blazers, transmission wise.

I guess your buddy has just had bad luck, like with any vehicle, Some are good, some are bad, even if its the same make/model.
I had a 94 blazer, 202k miles, origional tranny, still shifted solid and had no problems
My 93 jimmy right now has 190k miles on it, still shifts solid as well, OG tranny as well.
But why am I even arguing this.

I agree. Say what you will about it's off road prowess, but the 4L60E (700r4) is one of the most durable transmissions built. The one in my blazer has 240K on it, and I doubt the fluid has ever been changed. Still shifts great, not a bit of slippage. About the only engine/transmission combo that is more durable than a 4.3L/4L60E is a 350/350. (And the 4.3 is basically just a 350 with a pair of cylinders chopped off. And the 4L60E is just an overdrive, electronic version of the TH-350, 400)
